Partially Friends locked!

Feb. 27th, 2020 | 01:24 am

Partially friends locked.

That is, virtually all fandom related matters are locked away till furthur notice. Because I was really stupid, and my dad found out about this. D: Yep. The Horror! Terrible thought is it not?! But yes, I quickly locked everything away...

I have been virtually dead online for a while (that's what happens when you get thrown a mountain of work and leave the country) but soon I will have my priorities straight (read: will be back on the writing bandwagon) and will hopefully have more fic here.

(Hehheh. Backdating~ Hope this works! (^^)~)

I'm still alive!

Is anyone still out there?

Where ever you are, I hope you're doing well

I hope you're happy

I remember the days when this was our playground.

Those were good times right?

Even though you've moved on

It's ok sometimes

To just come back here. (^-^)

Time flies~

Jun. 13th, 2011 | 02:52 pm

Time really flies. So fast.

Things change at a rapid, rapid paste pase pace. yeah I'm really tired

Due to an increase in real life activities, I have begun to decrease my participation in fandom. (old news there.) but I'm still alive~ I'm still alive! :D

I will be back soon. As always.

In other news, I manage to get my hands on the Super Mario Theme song, which our conductor (for my clarinet ensemble) has agreed to change into a workable score - so we will play Super Mario Theme song! Next, introduce the pokemon theme song...

Where the hell am I right now

Apr. 26th, 2011 | 03:26 pm

In one sentence, real life caught up.

I will have little free time over the next 10 weeks, it would seem. Studying, Homework, then mid-year-exams...

Let's just say my fandom life, especially the livejournal part, has taken a blow.

I was never particularly good with time management, but now... it looks like fandom time will be the thing partially sacrificed (I have already sacrificed sleep, there isn't much left).

Will life always be like this? After school there is University, and after Uni there is Employment, then I get old and forget about fandom? Sad.

Ah well.

Still Japan dominates my thoughts

Ehehe... it's been a while since the quake, but I really wonder what is the truth.

For example, ninemsn reports that Japan's foos supply has been contaminated, while another source says that it was only food near Fukushima - and that it was not harmful to humans.

However, Japan is strong and they will make it through this!

http://jpquake.wikispaces.com/Journalist+Wall+of+Shame <--makes me doubt and question, as one should always do.

I am worried. Extremely. For obvious reasons.

But also, Nuclear. Nuclear. Protons, Electrons, Neutrons, Atoms... I don't know how to feel. Worried as hell is probably about right.

So I pray for Japan. I help in organising funraisers. I will donate my money when I have a chance (and I don't have a job). I continue to try and find out what's happening.

I want a reply from my friends, I need to know if they're ok. At the moment it seems they are, but I would really like more confimation...

Dear God. Please, please, please help Japan. Please don't let this be the end of Fukushima. Don't let that part of Japan become lose. No one wanted another Chernobyl (how to spell), and after this Japan will rethink it's power source. So please.

But what else was there... Silent thanks is given, http://hopeletters.wordpress.com/ and by writing here, that thanks won't be silent anymore. Thankyou to those providing aid, thankyou to those who are trying to stop a nuclear meltdown, thankyou to those who share what little they have to give....

P.S. I'm watching an anime called 'Himitsu - The Revelation' right now. I would highly recommend it, except I'm watching it late, late and night it's crime and there are lots of scary things and I'm going to get nightmares......

Tai Wan Mei~ And 2011 Japan Quake

Mar. 14th, 2011 | 01:33 am

I bought the Tai Wan Mei album. GAH. IT'S SO GOOD.

I love it. It even came with this awesome booklet things with PINYIN. SO I CAN SING ALONG IN MY REALLY, REALLY FAIL CHINESE. It's so cool. :D

And the poster is big. Big poster is good. My wall is running out of space. It's ok. I'll kick of some Katekyo prints.

Henry, Henry, Henry. Thankyou for not being the master of Chinese, and using simple Chinese so even I can understand little bits. And lots of english. I love you. "Ni shi wo de ni hai" <-- I can understand this whole line!!!!

Zhou Mi, for making a song that makes my friend think of Rainbows, Unicorns and meadows. For wearing a pink tassel that makes my friend laugh. For making me smile. So good. I love you.

So yeah. As I was watching a fancam on SJM performing Perfection, I hear the fans chanting. It warms my heart so. I love it when fans are truly supportive.

Also, I have to add, my heart goes out to those in Japan who are suffering from the recent quake. I desperately pray for those in the affected region, as well as my friends and friend's friends in Japan. I hope that Japan manages to survive this quake. Let's work together to aid Japan!

Gate 7

Mar. 1st, 2011 | 07:32 pm

Well, for those who follow it, the ending of xxxHoLIC killed me. So I decided to, well, go easy on CLAMP for a while. Not read their new series

However, now, it's been a while. I managed to revisit HoLIC, and while I'm not overly happy with the end, I'm not in depression either.

Warning - Under these cuts Spoilers do lie!

Characters (Warning Spoilers!)Collapse )

While only 2 chapters of Gate 7 are currently available, the series looks promising. Fantasy, Action, A little romance, and an absolutely brilliant beautiful artstyle. The art seems to combine CLAMP's "Noodle" bodies with the eyes and facial features of X. Incredibly beautiful art.

I recommend you check this series out! Especially if your a CLAMP fan! It gets a good rating from me. :)

Now as for my FIRST impressions of gate 7 (The boring spaz.)Collapse )

First ever post on livejournal, so if you see this, it was in my journal, right?

So, if you've come here hoping to see something interesting, there's nothing here.  =P  No clue what-so-ever how to use livejournal, even though I've been visiting this site for over 2 years.  Anyway, thought that my journal look empty.

Maybe it should have personal information?  Ok, I'm a highschool student, female, I live in Australia.  I love manga and anime, and my most recent addiction is Wild Adapter and Executive Committee.  Before this it was Kingdom Hearts, which I was introduced to by a friend, and I still haven't played the games, because I don't own a PS2.

Hmph.  well, that's that.  Seems that none of my friends know what livejournal is.  I should tell them.
